The eviction process can be confusing and scary. In Pima County, there are agencies and programs that can help with financial assistance, legal assistance, and other support to help individuals and families prevent or recover from eviction.

HOMELESS PREVENTION

There are a number of rent and utility assistance programs in Pima County available based on your circumstances. Homelessness Prevention provides on-going assistance for households at the highest risk of homelessness resulting from eviction or other loss of housing.

Emergency Rent + Utility Assistance

Tucson Pima Eviction Prevention Program: A joint project of the City of Tucson, Pima County, and Community Investment Corporation.

The Tucson Pima Eviction Prevention Program provides up to 12 months of rental/utility arrears and up to 3 months of ongoing rental assistance for low/moderate income households facing eviction as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Emergency Eviction Legal Services

Pima County Office of Emergency Eviction Legal Services

The Office of Emergency Eviction Legal Services can help tenants in need of legal advice and representation in eviction cases.

Free legal counsel is available to qualifying tenants. Navigators are available to explain the process and connect tenants with other county and community resources, like rent assistance, help finding a job and much more. Learn More HERE.
